This policy explains what information Toolbelt Handyman Services (based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania) collects when you contact us, book a job, or receive service from us — and what we do (and don’t do) with it. We’re a small shop, not an ad network. We collect what we need to do the work, and nothing else.

When you call us, text us, book a job, or fill out a form on this site, we may collect:
We use the information you give us to deliver the requested service: scheduling the tech, sending booking confirmations and reminders, sharing the tech’s ETA when they’re on the way, processing your payment, and collecting feedback after the job. That’s it. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or retargeting.
You consent to receive SMS messages from us when you call us, book a job through this website, or text our number. Customers may receive up to 5 SMS messages per service request (booking confirmation, 24-hour reminder, tech-en-route ETA, payment link, and rating request). You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message to immediately opt out. Reply HELP for support info.
Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier’s standard messaging rates and data charges apply to any SMS you receive from us; Toolbelt does not charge you to receive these messages.
Calls to our business line at (717) 594-9154 are answered by our AI receptionist (we call her Riley). For service-quality and record-keeping purposes, calls are transcribed in near-real-time. Transcripts and any accompanying call recordings are retained for 90 days and then purged automatically. By calling us, you consent to this recording and transcription. If you’d prefer not to be recorded, please tell Riley at the start of the call and we’ll route you to the owner directly.
The public marketing site uses no analytics or advertising cookies. The admin and technician dashboards use a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in. That’s the only cookie in play.
To run the business we rely on a small, vetted set of processors:
Each of these processors operates under their own privacy terms and only receives the minimum data needed to perform their function (e.g. Twilio receives your phone number to deliver SMS; Stripe receives payment details).
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email the owner using the contact info below; we’ll respond within a reasonable time and at no cost. If you ask us to delete your information we’ll do so unless we have a legal obligation to retain it (for example, tax records of completed transactions).
