By booking a job, calling our line, or otherwise engaging Toolbelt Handyman Services (“Toolbelt”, “we”, “us”) you agree to these terms. If any part of these terms doesn’t work for your situation, please call before booking and we’ll talk it through.
Toolbelt provides handyman repair and small-project work in the Mechanicsburg, PA area — roughly a 30-minute drive around 17055. The owner reviews every booking before it’s assigned to a technician. We don’t take on full remodels, panel work, or roof tear-offs; if your job is bigger than a one-day fix we’ll politely refer you elsewhere.
Bookings can be requested by phone or through the form on our website. We request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations so we can offer the slot to another customer. No-shows or same-day cancellations may be subject to a fee at the owner’s discretion.
Rates are posted on the booking flow and discussed on the call before work starts. After-hours, holiday, and emergency-response jobs may carry a surcharge per the visible rate card. Parts and materials, when supplied by Toolbelt, are billed at cost plus a small handling fee.
Payment is processed through Stripe Checkout. Invoices are net-due upon completion of the job unless a different arrangement has been agreed to in advance in writing (text or email counts). We never store your payment card details ourselves — Stripe handles all card data.
We stand behind our workmanship for 90 days on completed jobs. If something we installed or repaired fails because of how we did the work, call us and we’ll come back and make it right at no charge. Defective parts are not warrantied by us beyond whatever the manufacturer offers; we’ll help you make that claim where reasonable.
To the maximum extent permitted by Pennsylvania law, Toolbelt’s total liability for any claim arising from a job is capped at the cost of the service performed on that job. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or punitive damages. Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
When you book a job or text our line, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from us (booking confirmation, reminders, ETA, payment link, rating request). Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for support. Message and data rates may apply. See our Privacy Policy for the full SMS terms.
Calls to our business line are handled by our AI receptionist and are transcribed for service-quality and record-keeping. Transcripts are retained 90 days and then purged. By calling us you consent to this; you may opt out verbally at the start of the call.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflicts-of-law rules. Any dispute that can’t be worked out informally will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cumberland County, PA.
